Since 2018 Joan has been facilitating Laughter Yoga weekly at many area assisted living and memory care locations as well as colleges,  staff retreats, community groups, businesses, private events and parties and mental health staff offices.

Joan is available for private parties (family events, bridal/baby showers), corporate wellness events and anyplace else where there are stressed, anxious or lonely people looking to make connections, feel amazing, and have fun de-stressing!  You can hire her for a one-time event or experience or if you want to make wellness and positivity an on-going experience then more regular sessions are recommended.

What’s so special about Laughter Yoga Wellness?


Laughter Yoga is the unique, uplifting practice of prolonged voluntary laughter that is akin to internal jogging. Done in groups,  we begin with laughter exercises, and incorporate the deep breathing of yoga. Then, we add a dose of playfulness and it quickly becomes real contagious laughter as participants are guided to fake it til they make it.   It is not yoga poses and one does not need to be funny, flexible, nor in a good mood to enjoy it and reap the benefits. It is very simple and suitable for all ages and abilities, You can even participate in a chair!
